Board of Directors Training 2022

On the 21st of May 2022, 10 schools in Kota Kinabalu, including St. Francis Convent participated in the annual Board of Directors training programme that was held in Sabah Credit Corporation. 

To start our day, we BODs decided to have breakfast together at the mamak restaurant just across from the building to fill our nervous, empty stomachs *hehe*

Just the day before, we were practicing our dance for the ice-breaking session to present to the other schools. Our club service director had picked a simple dance with a Spanish style song and guided us throughout the dance. We also discussed our yearly club activity planning after we finished practicing.

So, back to where we left off, once we got into the building, breakfast was being distributed to every school. Before we began, we danced together with the Rotarians of KK and also had a karaoke session where everyone sang the famous local song, "Sayang Kinabalu"!

Each Rotarian had presented and talked about what it means to be a leader, and what we can do to contribute as a member of the Interact Club. All the talks certainly inspired us and gave us motivation to improve as leaders 💓 The president of each school was then called to the front to present their yearly planning to everyone. 

We were then separated into groups with our respective positions so the Rotarians can give us in depth talks on what we should do with our position. 

We thank the Rotary Club KK for organizing such eye-opening event. Us BODs now have a greater desire to strive for the better and we're confident that we're able to guide our fellow members of Interact Club.
