Board of Directors Training 2023

 

    On 6th of May 2023, BODs of SMK St. Francis Convent Interact Club participated in the annual Board of Directors Training organised by RCKK at Sabah Credit Corperation. At this program, we were joined by nine other schools. 

    The program started off with a zumba session held by the employees of Sabah Credit Cooperation employed, followed by the talks of RCKK rotarians, sharing their experiences and responsibilities as members of the Rotary Club. 

Inbetween these sessions, each school prepared a small dance intervention to keep us on our feet. Our school prepared 'Nobody' by Wonder Girls to lighten up the atmosphere. Safe to say, everyone was energised throughout the day! 

After a quick break, we were sorted into groups of our respective positions where each group had a rotarian as an advisor to explain our duties more in depth. The group discussion helped us understand our role as a BOD even better. 

    We were brought to the climax of the program, the yearly planning of the Interact Clubs of each school. Each school had a representive amongst their BODs to explain the plans they have for this session. Our school had our secretary as a representative on our behalf to list out the activities we have planned throughout the year.

The program wrapped up with all the interactors dancing around the hall to a local song, where we bonded. Throughout the program, we obtained new knowledge of not just being BODs but also Interactors as a whole. We extend our greatest thanks towards the RCKK and Sabah Credit Cooperation for inviting and organising the training program. We hope to join such programs for more years to come!
