INTERNATIONAL UNDERSTANDING DAY 2015

On the 19^th of April 2015, our school’s Interact Club participated in the International Understanding Day competition which was held at Oceanus Waterfront Mall from 10 am until 4 pm. We were judged based on 5 categories; Best Stall, Best Food, Best Costume, Best Info, Best Dance and finally, the Overall Champion title.

            

This year, 8 schools took part in this vibrant event. They were SMK St. Francis Convent (M), SM La Salle, SM Lok Yuk, SM All Saints, Maktab Sabah, KK High School, SM Stella Maris and SM Shan Tao. We competed with the theme ‘SFC takes you to China’.

            

The event started off with visiting of judges accompanied by The Rotarians to every booth of each school. They will be judging the decoration of the stall, the food prepared as well as the information counter of each particular country. A couple of hours later, the showcase of models representing their chosen country takes place followed by the dance competition. Every school did an absolute great job performing.

            After the deliberation, the results was made to a decision whereby our school won 3^rd Place for Best Food, 1^st Place in Best Stall & Best Info and the 1^st runner up for Overall Champion. As for the Overall Champion, SM All Saints managed to defend its title.
