7th Joint Interact Installation Night

It's a dazzling night! The Joint Interact Installation Night is an annual event where the new Board of Directors for the 6 main schools under Rotary Club Kota Kinabalu, are officially elected. The main schools are SM St. Francis Convent (M), SM All Saints, SM La Salle, SM Lok Yuk, Sabah College and this year, we have a new school included, namely SMK Sepulut. This year's Installation Night was held on the 24th of March, 2017, at Kimanis Ballroom, Hyatt Kinabalu Hotel. The theme for the night was 'Hollywood :  Lights, Camera, Action!'. 

The event started off with speeches by the representative of Outgoing Presidents 2016/2017, which was our previous president, Dana, the representative of Ingoing Presidents 2017/2018 and lastly, by the Guest of Honour which was the President of the Rotary Club Kota Kinabalu (RCKK), Mr. Jeyan Marimuttu.

The installment of the new Board of Directors for every school's Interact Club was then carried out by calling each director's name onto the stage to receive their pins.

The event proceeded with performances from each school. SM La Salle, Sabah College and our school had a band performing , with our's called, 'The Last Flight'. SM All Saints and SM Lok Yuk had their own representatives to present their own creatively self-choreographed dance. 

As the evening was coming to an end, they announced the King & Queen of the Night. One of our director, Khairunnisa got named as Queen of the Night!
