Another Chapter Closed (2017)
This is it..
Every year-end, the club will have a final meeting, that is unlike any ordinary meeting. Other than the announcement of the new Board of Directors, most junior Interactors will get a senior Interactor's name by random. The junior will then have to prepare a sincere and simple gift for the given name. Nothing extraordinary, just from the heart.
Now why do I say "most" junior Interactors? It's because that is how the new directors will be informed as each new director will be getting the name of their respective predecessor. Exciting or not?
As usual, the meeting started off with speeches from our teacher adviser, Ms. Wee, as well as from the president who is about to hand down her post. Sadly, Ms. Siska who's also our teacher adviser couldn't attend the meeting. Ms. Wee gave a run through of the club's progression for the year 2017, an overview of the bond between junior and senior Interactors, expressed gratitude towards ALL members and highlighted a few matters regarding the club for the year 2017. She also kindly gave us motivation to strive better not only as an Interactor in terms of extra curricular, but also strive for the best in academic achievements, especially for the seniors. (because sigh, spm) Be a balanced student.
We then proceeded with the fun part, receiving gifts!! yayy! (well, for us seniors 😂) Our emcees called up each junior and the junior herself, will call out her appointed senior. The new directors were last in line as the official reveal of the coming BOD. We all had fun receiving our gifts! Big or small, we know they are all from the heart :)
Finally, as an ultimate ending, we took group pictures. Pictures telling many stories behind that will live on forever in our memories.
THANK YOU to our two teacher advisers, Ms. Wee Lian Lui and Ms. Siska Meme Yacob for their never ending work behind the scene and support! Without them, the club will never have been anywhere near to the current state and achievement. Thank you also to all Form 4 Interactors for fulfilling the promise made from the beginning, that you will give your best commitment and cooperation to the club. For us, Form 5 Interactors, it has been a memorable and meaningful two years journey. The lessons learned, experiences gained, friendships built and memories made have been etched in our hearts forever.
